 „Home of Nature, People’s Park- the Sustainable Use of the Tatras Ecosystems through Ecological Eucation”

The Tatra National Park hosted again the representatives of education, local governments, National Parks, National Forests as well as Tatra guides.

This time, the guests were invited on the occasion of the end of the “Nature House, People’s Park- through ecological education for sustainable use of the ecosystems of the Tatra Mountains” project, within which the modern and innovative “Children Discovery Land” was created as well as the biggest Tatra model in Poland.

On 13.05.2016 in the Tatra National Park, the presentation meeting took a place. There were the Tatra National Park employees, the Tatra guides, teachers and the local travel agents invited. The meeting was held in two parts. The first part was to show the Tatra National Park employees how the Nature Education Centre works. The second part was to educate the Tatra guides and teachers. The guests could see the results of a several months’ work. They watched the interactive and 3D films, got to know the biggest Tatra model in Poland, visited the “Children Discovery Land” and learnt how to use the building.

We are pleased to inform that we have finished the next stage of the project:  Nature House, People’s Park- through ecological education for sustainable use of the ecosystems of the Tatra Mountains”. The Education Centre is now open. We invite all to visit the new attractions. There are “Children Discovery Land” with a number of games for the young ones, the interactive and 3D films to watch in a newly rebuilt audio-visual room as well as the biggest Tatra model in Poland to see.

The Tatra National Park hosted the representatives of the local governments, National Parks, National Forests and local schools. The participants listened to lectures about implementation of the project and got to know how the Centre works.
